In preparation for the online In-training Examination (ITE) administration, ABEM requests that a preliminary site check be run to ensure your program’s site meets the minimum system requirements; please follow the instructions below.
The two most common errors in running the system check concern pop-up blockers (please allow pop-ups for this system check) and your browser (the systems check requires Internet Explorer or Safari browsers).
Run the System Pre-check
- Click on the following link: abem.programworkshop.com (Login not required for the pre-check. If you have any issues please contact ITS Support at 800-514-8494)
- Click “Check Readiness”
- Click “Run System Check”
- Click “Run Check” (First and Last Name NOT required)
- Wait for the System Check to complete (it may take a few minutes)
- Review results
If, after your program runs the above pre-check, it is found that your site/device does not meet the minimum system requirements, and/or cannot support an online administration, contact ABEM’s testing vendor, Internet Testing Systems’ support at support@testsys.com or at 800-514-8494 immediately to assist in your program’s readiness for the 2020 ITE. ITS is open during the holidays on December 26 & 27 and December 30 & 31, 2019.
Your program will be asked to run a second system site check approximately two weeks prior to the ITE administration which requires a user ID and password. Logins are sent to the proctors the first week of February 2020.
